Meryem Berrada is an artist based in London, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains how personal information is handled on meryemberrada.com in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Information collected

When you add artwork to your cart, the site stores your selected items locally in your browser. At checkout, we collect your name, email address, shipping address and phone number through Stripe’s checkout form. We also keep order information, including items purchased, payment status and the amount paid. Do not submit information you do not wish to share for these purposes.

How information is used

Your information is used to process and fulfill orders, arrange shipping, send order confirmations and communicate with you about your purchase. We use only the information needed for these purposes and do not sell your personal information.

Payments and sharing

Card payments are handled by Stripe. Card numbers and other full card details are entered into Stripe’s payment form and are never stored on this site. Order and contact details are shared with Stripe to process payments and, where necessary, with shipping carriers to deliver your purchase. Those providers handle information under their own privacy practices.

Analytics and cookies

The site uses a Lovable analytics script and cookies or similar browser technologies to understand site traffic and how visitors use the site. Your cart may also be saved in your browser so it is available when you return. Browser settings can be used to manage cookies and stored data, although some site features may not work as expected if they are disabled.

Retention and safeguards

Order and contact records are kept only as long as reasonably needed to fulfill orders, handle inquiries and meet applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations; after that they are deleted or anonymized when possible. Access to order information is limited to what is needed to operate the studio and its payment and delivery services.
